What is Montreal's best kept secret? Concordia University's Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery. The challenge presented by the gallery's tenth anniversary was to address the history of exhibition and collection. To do so five artists were invited to explore the gallery's mandate, practices and environment, and to transform its traditional exhibition space. Thérèse Chabot, Stéphane Gilot and Vid Ingelevic, among others, took up the challenge.
Quel est le secret le mieux gardé à Montréal ? La Galerie d'art Leonard & Bina Ellen de l'Université Concordia. À l'occasion de son dixième anniversaire, la galerie a invité cinq artistes à transformer les espaces traditionnels de la salle d'exposition tout en explorant le mandat du musée, ses coutumes et son environnement. Thérèse Chabot, Stéphane Gilot et Vid Ingelevics, entre autres, honorent le passé et envisage l'avenir de la Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen.
